Carballo - Adrián
Mr. Carballo is the Institutional Relations Director of the South School on Internet Governance. He is advisor of UNESCO in connectivity and content projects for rural schools, libraries digitalization and ecommerce projects for the development and integration of rural cooperatives. He was is the Coordinator of the MERCOSUR Technology Advisor Committee for Productive Integration in the Undersecretary of Economic Integration for America and MERCOSUR in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Argentina. Mr. Carballo was the Coordinator of the Financing Commission of the Regional Plan of Action for the Information Society eLAC 2010. Previously to these positions, he worked as a technology specialist in the Secretary of International Commerce in programs that helped SMEs to make their first export. In the past he has worked for Telefonica Data Argentina (Advance) in the Marketing Direction. He has been involved in the training program for Legal Aspects of eCommerce, organized by UNCTAD and the Government of Spain. Mr. Carballo is a member of the ISOC Argentina Chapter Board and an active participant of ICANN, LACNIC and IGF meetings.
