Over the last years, Lee has coordinated the Council of Europe’s (www.coe.int) work in various international forums dealing with information society and internet governance, in particular the European Dialogue on Internet Governance (www.EuroDIG.org), the Internet Governance Forum (IGF), and the Governmental Advisory Committee of ICANN. At the substantive level, he has been heavily involved in the conception and development of several pan-European policy documents concerning empowerment of children online, the public service value of the Internet, protecting the dignity, security and privacy of children on the internet, freedom of expression and internet filters, as well as human rights guidelines’ for ISPs and online games providers. As a consequence of his skills in transversal working methods, Lee is also involved in collaborative work between the Council of Europe and external partners, including HEC Montreal, on the future of management and communities of practice.
