Rabinovich - Eleonora
Eleonora Rabinovich is the director of the Freedom of Expression Program at the Asociacion por los Derechos Civiles in Argentina. She is a lawyer and a journalist. With a Fulbright/Antorchas scholarship she pursued an MA in Latin American Studies at NYU with a focus on regional politics and media. As part of her program, Eleonora had the opportunity to work as an intern at the Organization of American States’ Office of the Special Rapporteur for Freedom of Expression. After graduating from CLACS in 2005 Eleonora returned to Argentina, and soon joined the Association for Civil Rights (Asociación por los Derechos Civiles, ADC) a prominent argentine NGO, where she is currently the Director of the Freedom of Expression Program. In 2007, Eleonora attended the Media Law Advocates Training Programme, run by the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies’ Programme in Comparative Media Law and Policy of the University of Oxford. She is a member of the International Media Lawyers Association (IMLA) and also teaches Media Law at the university level.
