Schulz - Jimmy
Jimmy Schulz (Twitter: @jimmyschulz) is a Member of the German Parliament for the liberal Free Democratic Party (FDP) since 2009. He is a full member of the interior committee and substitute member of the culture and media committee. Additionally, he is spokesperson for the FDP in the subcommittee on new media and in the enquiry committee "Internet and digital society".
Jimmy focuses in particular on topics such as IT-security, data protection, democracy 2.0, net neutrality and intellectual property rights.
Jimmy´s interest for IT started at school. An entrepreneur at heart, he later founded CyberSolutions GmbH, which went on the stock market in 2000 with the mother company Telesens AG. He has been an active member of the FDP since 2000 and fighting for civil liberties and freedom of the internet.
