Courtney C. Radsch is an international media expert, journalist and blogger with more than 10 years of journalism and media affairs experience in the U.S. and the Middle East. She is currently Senior Program Manager at Freedom House where she manages the Global Freedom of Expression Campaign. She regularly leads international advocacy missions, represents Freedom House at the UN Human Rights Council and serves as a spokesperson on media and technology issues. Ms.

Since mid-2009, Cédric Wachholz coordinates UNESCO’s WSIS follow-up and implementation, including the IGF related work from UNESCO’s Communication and Information Sector. He is originally an e-learning specialist, and headed before the WSIS work UNESCO’s ICT in Education Unit in the Education Sector. From 2006-8, he worked in the office of UNESCO's Assistant Director-General for Education, also coordinating and advising on ICT in Education activities.

Alex Comninos is a policy researcher with the Association for Progressive Communications working on issues around the internet and human rights. He is also DAAD Scholar and Doctoral Candidate at Justus-Liebig University Gießen in the Department of Geography. His doctoral research is on the use of online crisis mapping in the middle-East and North Africa during the Arab spring.

Ünal - Ceren

Ceren Ünal, from Ankara, Turkey, studied law at Ankara University, subsequently gaining a Master of Laws degree from Queen Mary, University of London, specializing in Computer and Communications Law as a British Chevening Scholar. Since 2003, she has worked as an instructor at Bilkent University Faculty of Law for the Internet Law and Civil Law courses. Ms Ünal is also studying a PhD in Civil Law at Ankara University, with a dissertation on the Civil Liability of Internet Service Providers for Online Content.
