Biography: 

Since mid-2009, Cédric Wachholz coordinates UNESCO’s WSIS follow-up and implementation, including the IGF related work from UNESCO’s Communication and Information Sector. He is originally an e-learning specialist, and headed before the WSIS work UNESCO’s ICT in Education Unit in the Education Sector. From 2006-8, he worked in the office of UNESCO's Assistant Director-General for Education, also coordinating and advising on ICT in Education activities.

Reynolds - Taylor

Taylor Reynolds is a senior economist at the OECD. He leads the organisation’s Information Economy Unit that covers issues such as the role of information and communication technologies in the economy, digital content, economic impacts of the Internet and green ICTs. His previous work at the OECD concentrated on telecommunication and broadcast markets with a particular focus on broadband.

Bernadette Lewis has held the position of Secretary General of the Caribbean Telecommunications Union (CTU) since August, 2003.
Under her stewardship, the CTU has been transformed into a relevant and vibrant information and communication technology (ICT) organization which is at the forefront of activities to harmonize policies and practices for the development of the Caribbean ICT sector.

 C. Trevor Clarke has completed a highly successful career in the private sector representing British multinational corporation Cable & Wireless in telecommunications engineering and management. He played a key role in the telecommunications liberalization negotiations with Governments both in Barbados and in the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean states (OECS).

Sophie Kwasny is a lawyer who works for the Council of Europe (Strasbourg). She is responsible for standard-setting and policy on data protection and privacy, including with regard to new technologies and the Internet.
