Mark Tinka is head of engineering at SEACOM, the largest submarine fiber system on the east coast of Africa. Previously, Mark was Chief Network Engineer at TIME and Global Transit International. Before that, Mark built the service-provision network of Africa Online in Uganda, Swaziland, and Zimbabwe. Mark was instrumental in the founding of the Uganda Internet Exchange, and was one of the initial organizers of AfNOG, the African Network Operators Group.

Pawlik - Axel

Axel graduated from the University of Dortmund, Germany, with a Masters Degree in Computer Science. He was later employed at the University of Dortmund from 1985 to 1992, where he contributed to the establishment of UNIX networking as a publicly available service in Germany. This institution introduced Internet access services to the business community and general public.
From 1987-1991, he also served as a member of the Board of the German Unix Users Group (GUUG).

Mr. Timo Lehtimäki is director of Networks and Security in FICORA - Finnish Communications Regulatory Authority. FICORA is a government organisation operating under the Ministry of Communications in Helsinki, Finland.
Mr. Timo Lehtimäki has been working in Finnish Communications Regulatory Authority since 2000 and he is responsible of Finland's national information security functions namely CERT-FI and National Communications Security Authority, NCSA-FI.

Per such, she handles the innovation and ICT portfolios for the Prime Minister Office.  Before that, Salam was Program Manager for Corporate Social Responsibility at Cisco since 2005. Salam has 20 years experience in the development and management of ICT systems for both the private and public sectors, the formulation of ICT Strategies and ICT for Development (ICT4D) programs.
